What success means
A “Ted cat” means something.
The phrase does not describe a color, title, or particular pedigree. It means the cat arrived with a known history, an individual personality, and a breeder who remained involved after departure.
Someone at a show told a vendor they had a “Ted cat,” and the vendor knew what she meant. That’s success for me.

The first cat came home in a VW bus.
My family entered the breed in 1979. The story begins with an eight-year-old, a cold drive, mentors who became family friends, and a cat whose descendants remained in the pedigrees.
